Life in Brief

1966: his first crying in Baghdad.  


1982: published his first poem in At-Tali’a Al-Adabiyya.


1984: joined the Academy of Fine Arts/ Plastic Arts Department.


1988: recruited in the war before its end.


 1990: run away from his country with his poems before the second war.             


Studied Islamic sciences.


Worked a cultural editor in Nidaa’ Ar-Rafidain (Newspaper), Al-Mu’tamar (Newspaper) editing secretary, Al-Muwatin (Newspaper) vice editor-in-chief , member of Al-Muntada Ath-Thaqafi (Newspaper) editing board of and member of Al-Masala (Newspaper) editing board.


 1999: published his “Painful Beliefs”. Alwah Publishing House/ Spain.


 2000: published, jointly with Natiq Azeez, his book, “Baptize Me with the Wine of Waves”, (a translation of the Iranian poetess Furog Farakh Zad poetry). Union of Writers/ Damascus.


 2000: resided in Canada.
